The Historical Society of Immigration: Tenement
The history of tenements cannot be denied as an important blueprint of New York’s residential core as many still stand tall today. Inspired by the bold shape of the Yurnacular typeface, the poster takes form into elements that represent a tenement building, floor plans, and a street grid of NYC. In addition, the book consists of visual and literal excerpts from various sources in relation to the tenement theme.
